This Colt Camp Perry National Match was built in 1965 and shipped to Mr. Paul E. Jorgenson of La Crescenta, California.  This pistol was part of the DCM (Now the CMP) sale that allowed NRA members to purchase leftover military and Camp Perry National Match pistols directly from the DCM.

This pistol is accompanied by the packing slip as well as a Railway Express Agency receipt that shows a declared value of $103.00 for this pistol.  

The 1965 Springfield Armory National Match pistols featured a H&R marked barrel which is believed to be Harrington & Richardson.  These barrels were only utilized in the pistols from the 1965 run.

Records show that in 1965 1773 pistols were assembled by Springfield Armory.  While only 1011 of these pistols were sold through the DCM.
