The Colt Ace was manufactured from 1931-1947.  In total roughly 10,935 units were produced during this period.  The majority of pistols were offered as commercial sales while there has been some U.S. Government shipments observed.  

The Colt Ace was chambered in the 22LR caliber and fed by a 10 round magazine.  It has a 4-3/4" barrel length with a 8-1/4" overall length.  The standard sight options were a fixed front sight and adjustable square rear sight.
