The type of finish is a Desert Tan Cerakoted Stainless. It lists the type of stocks as Desert camouflage G10 composite stocks. Special features include: Furnished with front and rear slide serrations, a long solid aluminum trigger, an enhanced hammer with elongated slot, an upswept beavertail grip safety with palm swell, a Colt Tactical ambidextrous safety lock, a National Match barrel, a MIL-STD-/913 accessory rail, a flat serrated stainless mainspring housing with lanyard loop, Novak 3 dot night sights, and two 7-round Wilson combat magazines.

The letter also reads in the Remarks section: It is of further interest to note that the USMC roll mark on the slide was discontinued for commercial use on May 1, 2014. This would have been one of the last commercial purchased pistols to leave Colt with the USMC rollmark. The later pistols would be changed at the request of the USMC to have the "USMC" replaced with "M45A1".

This particular pistol was sold to the Employee Sales Account, Colt Defense LLC. It was early in the serial number range which most of the early pistols were reserved for Colt employees.  Based on our research it was a one-off product of a former Colt Custom Shop gunsmith.
