This particular Service Model Ace is factory engraved with Class "B" engraving and is wearing the original Pearl grips.  Upon examination of the engraving and the time period the factory engraving on this pistol would have been done by Wilbur Glahn.

The factory engraving on this particular pistol is pretty extensive.  Coverage area's also extend to the front strap, grip safety, barrel bushing and trigger guard.

Accompanying this pistol is the original maroon Colt box.  Included in the box is the cleaning brush, instruction sheet, spare magazine and screwdriver.  The end label of the box has a "pearl blue" label as well as an "Engraved" label.
