This Colt Police Positive Revolver was shipped to J.A. Sovy, City of Poughkeepsie, New York on April 14th, 1913 in a 2 gun shipment. It has a 4" barrel, black rubber grips and is chambered in 38 Caliber. It's finish is high polish blue with fire blue small parts. The factory letter indicates that this Colt was Factory Engraved: "P.P.D." on the butt of the revolver. This pistol was utilized for the Poughkeepsie Police Department.
