This Colt 1908 Vest Pocket was shipped to the Baker Hamilton & Pacific Company in San Francisco, California on August 8th, 1927 in a 10 gun shipment. The factory letter calls out that this particular pistol was shipped with Checkered wood grips. At some point, possibly at the dealer, the stocks have been swapped out for factory pearl grips.
This vest pocket features Colt's fine brushed blue finish and pearl square top grips. The grips feature flush medallions where the the medallion on the left hand side faces forward and the right hand side faces the rear.
