This Colt Official Police was shipped to the S.B. Hubbard Company in Jacksonville, Florida on November 1st, 1939 in a single gun shipment. It features Colt's fine brushed blue commercial finish with factory checkered walnut grips. The Official Police was Colt's medium frame revolver that evolved from the Army Special. Serialization of the 22LR would have their own unique serial number range while the other calibers would continue to use that of the Army Special.
Accompanying this revolver is the original hinged maroon box, cleaning brush and test target.
