his Colt Model 1905 was shipped on June 27th, 1910 to W.F. Sheard of Tacoma Washington.
The finish on this 1905 is Colt's high polish blue. The small parts will retain their fire blue. This is the later variant with the spur hammer, earlier pistols are observed with rounded hammers.
Accompanying this pistol is the factory shipping box that is numbered to the pistol. Factory boxes for the Colt 1905 are rare as not many 1905's were produced and most were utilized as working guns.
