This Colt Camp Perry National Match was built in 1966 and shipped to Mr. Frank H. Leslie of Shaker Heights, Ohio. This pistol was part of the DCM (Now the CMP) sale that allowed NRA members to purchase leftover military and Camp Perry National Match pistols directly from the DCM.
This pistol still has the National Match sticker wrapped around the trigger guard with the date visible around it. It's accompanied by 3 magazines, a cleaning rod and the original shipping sleeve that it shipped with. Also is the original Invoice and Hand Receipt when it was sold by the DCM.
Records show that in 1966 3125 pistols were assembled by Springfield Armory. While only 500 of these pistols were sold through the DCM.
